WBB comeback falls short in loss at Paul Quinn

DALLAS, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's basketball team cut a 12-point deficit down to two points over the final four minutes of Saturday afternoon's contest, but it wasn't enough as Paul Quinn held on to take a 73-71 win. 

The Bulldogs are now 3-3 overall with an 0-2 start to conference play.

Faith Robinson continued to lead the team in scoring as she posted 27 points. She also pulled in a team high 13 rebounds to complete the double-double performance.

Micah McCrea and Alexis Hordge also scored in double figures. McCrea totaled 13 points to go along with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Hordge tallied 12 points and had two rebounds and two steals.

Up Next

The Bulldogs host Huston-Tillotson on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. for the conference home opener.
