HAWKINS, Texas – Jarvis Christian University Men's and Women's Cross Country Head Coach Jeremy Pratt announced the 2022 schedule today, which features five meets.

The men and women will compete in the same events this season, starting with the Nicole Leman Invitational hosted by LeTourneau University on September 3. The teams will then travel to Texarkana to compete in the Texas A&M Texarkana Collegiate XC Invitational on September 9. To finish off the month of September, the Bulldogs will head to Clinton, MS to compete in the Watson Cross Country Classic hosted by Mississippi College.

For the lone event in October, the Bulldogs will make the short trip to Marshall to participate in the East Texas Baptist University Tiger Invitational. The season then wraps up with the Red River Athletic Conference Championships in Windcrest, TX on November 5. Both teams finished 6^th at the RRAC Championship last season.

"I have a group of student-athletes who are talented and are committed to excellence and to work together as one", Pratt said. "That is where it starts. Different talents, same commitment. There are things we can talk about and plan, and then there are things that just happen. Sometimes student-athletes do things that bring out the best in each other. That is what I am looking forward to this upcoming season. With all of the new faces we look to create a jealous-free zone and be able to work as one. We look to build a culture to inspire others and we will not take that culture for granted. There will be a constant renewal of values that will lead to camaraderie."
