
MBB travels to Nicholls State for exhibition
THIBODEAUX, Louisiana – The Jarvis Christian men's basketball team will head to Nicholls State University on Tuesday for the first exhibition game of the season. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. at Stopher Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs are 2-1 to start the season after earning wins against Wiley College and Rust College over the weekend at the Texarkana Classic. The matchup at Nicholls State on Tuesday will be one of three exhibitions against NCAA Division I opponents this season. JCU will also play Rice and Louisiana Tech later in December.
The Colonels are 0-3 to start the season after losing to BYU on Saturday. Nicholls also lost to Arizona and Wyoming earlier this month.
Jakari Jackson leads the Bulldogs in scoring so far this season as he has posted 40 points through three games. James Phillip Russell and Jakobe Dill follow just behind as they have each scored 38 points. Jorden Clark has scored 27 and Jamari Robertson has scored 21.
