SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's basketball team will travel to San Antonio this weekend to take part in the Halo Classic hosted by Our Lady of the Lake University.
The Bulldogs will face Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Friday at 3 p.m. in the OLLU Mabee Gymnasium. JCU will meet North American University on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tipoff.
JCU is 0-1 on the season after losing the home opener to Wylie College, 75-60 last weekend. Faith Robinson recorded a double-double in the effort with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Micah McCrea put up 14 points in the game as she also posted two rebounds and a steal.
