WBB travels to SHSU for exhibition

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's basketball team will head to Huntsville on Wednesday to play Sam Houston State in an exhibition game. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. in the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.

In the last time out on the court, the Bulldogs lost to the Cardinals from Lamar University, 78-55 in an exhibition on Friday night. JCU sits at 3-1 to start the season as the exhibitions do not count to the season record.

SHSU is 0-2 to start the season after losing to Auburn and Texas State. The Bearkats are allowing an average of 82.5 points through two games, while the Bulldogs are scoring an average of 81.3 points per game.

Faith Robinson leads the team as she has totaled 73 points this season to go along with 46 rebounds. Micah McCrea has posted 51 points, Ne'khyria Rogers as scored 43 points, and Yvonne Forman has recorded 29 total points. Rogers has 21 rebounds for the season, while Raniya White has 19, and Alexis Hordge has 18.
