WBB travels to Lamar for exhibition
BEAUMONT, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's basketball will hit the road to play an exhibition with NCAA Division I member, Lamar University from the Southland Conference. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in the Montagne Center.
The Bulldogs are 3-1 on the season riding a three-game win streak where JCU has scored more than 80 points in all three games. Last time out, JCU dominated Dallas Christian College in a 95-59 blowout on Tuesday night.
Faith Robinson has proved to be a top player for the Bulldogs this season as she has recorded four double-doubles through four games. She scored 22 points and pulled in 12 rebounds in the win Tuesday night.
The meeting between the Bulldogs and Cardinals will be only the second in program history. The teams last met in 1971 when Lamar won the contest.
