TEXARKANA, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's basketball team dropped its Red River Athletic Conference opener at Texas A&M – Texarkana, 81-59 on Thursday night.
The Bulldogs fall to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in conference action this season.
Faith Robinson was the leading scorer for JCU as she posted 21 points Thursday night. She also pulled in a team high nine rebounds and recorded one steal.
Raniya White tallied 10 points to go along with six rebounds. Micah McCrea and B'Jne Arvie each scored six points. McCrea had a rebound, two assists, and a steal. Arvie pulled in five boards.

The Bulldogs travel to Paul Quinn to continue the conference slate on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
