HAWKINS, Texas – Coming off two convincing wins at the Halo Classic over the weekend, the Jarvis Christian women's basketball team returns home to the E.W. Rand Center to host Dallas Christian College on Tuesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip.
The Bulldogs put together two big wins over the weekend in San Antonio as JCU defeated Southwestern Assemblies of God University, 89-50 on Friday before taking down North American University, 81-49 on Saturday. JCU improved to 2-1 on the season with the wins.
Faith Robinson recorded double-doubles in both games over the weekend as she has recorded a double-double in all three games of the season. She posted 34 points and 23 rebounds over the weekend.
Raniya White scored 16 points Friday to go along with four rebounds. Yvonne Forman had 15 points and four rebounds Friday.
Meya Gibson scored 13 on Saturday to go along with four rebounds and two assists. Ne'khyria Rogers and Micah McCrea each scored 12 in Saturday's contest. Rogers contributed five rebounds while McCrea finished with three.
