Women's soccer releases 2022 schedule
HAWKINS, Texas – JCU Women's Soccer Head Coach David Martinez announced the 2022 schedule today, which includes 10 home contests.
The season starts with three scrimmages on August 18, 20, and 25. The Bulldogs will travel to Richland College, Centenary College, and Letourneau University.
The first official game will be played on August 27 at home against Texas Wesleyan. The schedule features 10 home games and seven contests on the road. The Bulldogs start conference play on the road at Paul Quinn on September 22. Conference play then wraps up with back-to-back home games against Louisiana Christian University on October 27 and LSU-Alexandria on October 29.
The women's soccer team is coming off a 4-13 finish during the 2021 season, with a 3-8 mark in Red River Athletic Conference action.
"I am excited to see this recruiting class come in with a lot of experience and ready to compete," Martinez said. "We are ready to make history. This is now Jarvis Christian University, and we are ready to be a top team in the conference."
