HAWKINS, Texas – Jennifer Schroeder scored the only goal of the day in the 83rd minute to lift the Southwest Mustangs past the JCU Bulldogs, 1-0 Saturday afternoon at the Wendon L. Blair Soccer Field.
JCU moves to 4-4 on the season and 1-1 in conference play with the loss.
The Bulldogs had six shots and four shots on goal in the match.
Hailey Rivera had nine saves in the match as she allowed one goal.

The Bulldogs return to action next Saturday as they travel to Texas College for a 5 p.m. conference clash.
