
Women’s Soccer loses to Huston-Tillotson
HAWKINS, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's soccer team was shutout Thursday afternoon, 1-0 in a conference matchup against Huston-Tillotson.
The Bulldogs drop to 5-5 on the season overall and 2-2 in conference play. The win marks Huston-Tillotson's first in conference action.
Maria Lopez scored the lone goal of the day in the 52nd minute to seal the 1-0 win for the Rams. JCU outshot the Rams, 13-10, but could not convert any of those shots into goals.
Hailey Rivera notched six saves in the match as she played the goalkeeper spot all 90 minutes.

The Bulldogs stay home to continue conference play Saturday against Houston-Victoria. The women are set to play at 1 p.m. at the Wendon L. Blair Soccer Field on campus.
