HAWKINS, Texas – Arkansas-Pine Bluff took a 9-1 win Tuesday over Jarvis Christian. JCU drops to 2-3 on the season with the loss.
Iyanah Hicks, Natalie Freeman, Tiana Johnson, Ashley McGuire, and Denisse Quintanilla combined to score UAPB's nine goals in the contest. Tiana Johnson scored three goals, while Natalie Freeman delivered two goals.
Brisa Ibarra scored the Bulldogs' lone goal of the day. She scored her first goal of the season in the 88th minute as time was winding down. Leslie Guereca was credited with the assist.
Hailey Rivera registered 11 saves in the contest while allowing nine goals.
Up Next
The Bulldogs are back at home Saturday when they host North American at 1 p.m.
