Arevalo continues scoring streak in JCU loss

SAN ANTONIO – Johan Arevalo scored the only JCU goal of the day in Thursday's 5-1 loss at Texas A&M-San Antonio. Arevalo has now scored a goal in four consecutive contests and he is responsible for all four of JCU's goals scored in the last three matches.
Arevalo has found the goal nine times this season while making nine starts. He is also credited with two assists as he has accumulated 20 points so far this season.
Arevalo continues to be tied for first place in the Red River Athletic Conference in goals scored for the season. Jommar Reyes from Huston-Tillotson has also scored nine goals this season. Arevalo's point total is good for second place in the conference. He also continues to lead the conference in shots taken with 32 now.
