Both (W) & (M) Secure The # 8 Seed
Both the Womens and the Mens Basketball Teams have secured the # 8 seed in the Red River Conference Basketball Tournament. As in previous years, the conference tournament will be held in Alexandria, LA, hosted by memeber instituion LSUA. The Men's Team will be the first to see action as they take on the # 1 seed LSUS; the Bulldogs split with the Pilots in the regular season winning at home by a score of 93-86. They lost on the road to the Pilots by a score of 78-88. Tip -Off for this contest is scheduled for Friday February 24th, at 1:15 pm.
The Lady Bulldogs will follow later that evening as they take on #1 seeded Texas A&M Texarkana. They lost both of their matchups against TAMUT in the regular season by a score of 59-81 and 47-69.
