Bulldogs Win In Home Opener

The JCU Bulldogs claimed their first home win of the season with a victory over UNT Dallas by a score of 76 to 75.  In an evenly fought game that seen multiple lead changes, Jarvis was able to secure the win in the final second of the second half from a driving mid-range jumper from Leland Kirkendoll.  Kirkendoll shot a perfect game by going 4 for 4 in field goals and 6 for 6 from the free throw line, totaling 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.  James Phillip Russell would lead all Bulldogs with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals on the night.  Jamari Robertson chipped in 12 points to finish out the game.
