
JCU's Robinson Scores RRAC Women's Hoops Weekly Award
JCU's Robinson recognized with RRAC women's hoops weekly award after best production of the season
WACO, Texas – Faith Robinson of Jarvis Christian University (Texas) claimed the RRAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week award for her play over the dates of Jan. 15-21. This is the 12th award of the 2023-24 women's basketball season.
Robinson exploded for a 31-point, 20-rebound performance in the Bulldogs' victory over University of the Southwest (N.M.) on Saturday. The senior forward made 13-of-22 shots from the field in a rare 20-20 showing. She also delivered a double-double in a win over Paul Quinn College (Texas) and finished the week with 21.0 points and 15.5 boards per game. Robinson leads the RRAC with 11.4 rebounds per game for the season. JCU evened its conference record at 6-6 while improving to a mark of 10-7 overall.
